Advanced Scooter Course

For riders who want to improve their control of a scooter and increase their safety when riding in the city or on the road.

 

This course is designed for users with previous experience riding scooters, regardless of their displacement. The course includes exercises on agility, braking, balance, cornering, and braking on slippery surfaces with the ABS system, among others, to improve smoothness, learn the riding techniques that provide the most control in each case, as well as anticipate risk situations and react in the safest way possible.

TECHNIQUES THAT YOU’LL LEARN
  • The correct combination of brakes for safe and stabilized braking.
    • Cornering braking.
    • Obstacle avoidance, evasive technique, and counter-steering.
    • Operation and use of ABS
    • Use of the rear brake to gain fluidity in bends and turns.
    • Cornering technique.
    • Starting on steep slopes
    • Accuracy and control on uneven surfaces
    • Balance control for very low-speed control situations.

To participate in the course with a 125cc scooter you must have a type A1 driving license or have held a type B car driving license for more than 3 years (B-A1 validation).

Honda SH125

An agile, smooth, progressive, and lightweight 125cc scooter for maximum course and riding enjoyment.

Honda SH300

A Motorbike equipped with stabilizers, designed for ABS braking exercises, so that you can experience the behavior of ABS on slippery surfaces.

QUESTIONS?

For courses held at the HIS facilities

We provide the following safety equipment: helmet, gloves, elbow protectors, knee protectors, back protector, shoulder protectors, and chest protector. For off-road courses, we also provide specific goggles and boots.

 

For courses held on public roads open to traffic

The use of appropriate riding gear is mandatory: helmet, gloves, jacket, trousers (both with protective padding), and suitable footwear.

  • Special Courses for Children, no driving license is required, but experience in bike riding is recommended.

 

  • Beginner and Advanced Scooter Courses, require a driving license type A1 or B (with a minimum of 3 years of experience).

 

  • Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Motorcycle Courses require a minimum A2 driving license and some experience in riding motorbikes with gear shift.

 

  • For Professional Courses, the license required will depend on the models used.

 

  • For the Off-Road Riding Course, minimum driving license type A1 is required.

The price will vary depending on the type of course.

 

Payment for the courses can only be made by credit/debit card through our secure platform that you will find in our enrolment section.

For courses held at the HIS facilities

Course registration includes the free use of a motorcycle and fuel.

 

For courses held on public roads open to traffic

For courses conducted on roads open to traffic, participants must use their own motorcycle and fuel. The motorcycle must be properly insured and have a valid roadworthiness inspection (MOT/ITV). It must also be equipped with accessories and components approved for use on public roads.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their motorcycle is in good working condition, that all wear-prone components are in proper condition, and that there are no fluid or liquid leaks.
