Beginner Scooter Course

The best option to learn how to control your scooter safely starting with the basics of riding.

 

The course is designed for urban scooter users with little or no experience who want to learn and perfect their technique. The course content is of a theoretical-practical nature, focusing on scooter control techniques through exercises in agility, braking, balance, and adaptation, among others.

 

To become better adapted to the environment, we include exercises with Riding Simulators to practice in a virtual safe environment.

All courses include the corresponding insurance and liability policies.
The lease of motorbikes, rider's equipment, and fuel are included in the price.

TECHNIQUES THAT YOU’LL LEARN
  • Techniques for prevention and action in risk situations.
  • Techniques for controlling and handling scooters in an urban environment.
  • Correct eye focus and body position during maneuvers.
  • Proper application of the brakes according to the grip of the road.

To take the course with a 125cc scooter you need to have a type A1 driving license or have held a type B driving license for more than 3 years (B-A1 validation).

 

In all cases, users must know how to ride a bike and have acquired the feeling of balance in order to be able to progress correctly with the course content.

Honda SH125

An agile, smooth, progressive, and lightweight 125cc scooter for maximum course and riding enjoyment.

Honda Vision 50

A 49cc scooter for beginners. Its mild power and lightweight make it very easy to learn basic scooter riding techniques and is a very useful stepping stone to a 125cc scooter.

QUESTIONS?

For courses held at the HIS facilities

We provide the following safety equipment: helmet, gloves, elbow protectors, knee protectors, back protector, shoulder protectors, and chest protector. For off-road courses, we also provide specific goggles and boots.

 

For courses held on public roads open to traffic

The use of appropriate riding gear is mandatory: helmet, gloves, jacket, trousers (both with protective padding), and suitable footwear.

  • Special Courses for Children, no driving license is required, but experience in bike riding is recommended.

 

  • Beginner and Advanced Scooter Courses, require a driving license type A1 or B (with a minimum of 3 years of experience).

 

  • Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Motorcycle Courses require a minimum A2 driving license and some experience in riding motorbikes with gear shift.

 

  • For Professional Courses, the license required will depend on the models used.

 

  • For the Off-Road Riding Course, minimum driving license type A1 is required.

The price will vary depending on the type of course.

 

Payment for the courses can only be made by credit/debit card through our secure platform that you will find in our enrolment section.

For courses held at the HIS facilities

Course registration includes the free use of a motorcycle and fuel.

 

For courses held on public roads open to traffic

For courses conducted on roads open to traffic, participants must use their own motorcycle and fuel. The motorcycle must be properly insured and have a valid roadworthiness inspection (MOT/ITV). It must also be equipped with accessories and components approved for use on public roads.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their motorcycle is in good working condition, that all wear-prone components are in proper condition, and that there are no fluid or liquid leaks.
